Leandro Erlich, artist who is known for his installations that looks like 3D illusion, has created this ‘fake’ swimming pool for Sean Kelly Gallery, New York. His works are in several private and public collections all
around the world; he lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and

his brilliant works. But, back to this amazing pool – when you approach
the pool, from the ground floor, it appeared that people are standing
underwater on the floor of what seems to be a swimming pool full of
water. But, when looking at the pool from underneath,
you can see that it’s empty and the illusion of the water is achieved by
placing a large piece of transparent glass suspended over the pool on
which lies some actual water. The pool’s walls are painted blue, and
ladders are mounted to further add to the illusion that is both disorienting and humorous…
